There are three retail manufacture divisions among our products:
Capable of a crushing capacity of ten lakh tons per annum our sugar division crushes on an average between 9.5 to 10.5 lakh tons of sugarcane every year. Plans have been laid to increase the crushing capacity to 11 or 12 lakh tons per annum.
Products
We produce plantation white sugar of very high quality with less than 100 icumsa. Our produce meets the international standard of very low NSR (Non-Soluble Residue) value of less than 20 ppm.

Molasses is the by-product separated from ‘C’ grade sugar during centrifugation of sugar crystals. Our molasses yield per tonne of sugarcane is in the range 4 to 4.5%. The entire quantity of molasses produced is used for captive consumption in our distillery.
Bagasse is the fibre leftover after extracting juice from the sugarcane. This is recycled to generate steam and power to meet our requirements. At present, we generate 8 to 10% of surplus bagasse by implementing steam and power saving devices. With the completion of the in-house co-generation power plant project, the surplus bagasse will be used for generating captive power.
Press mud is the solid waste from sugarcane and is rich in organic compounds like nitrogen, phosphors and potassium. Press mud is utilized in producing bio-manure by composting with spentwash, a liquid waste from the distillery.
Installed in 2003, the distillery has a capacity of 50 KLPD and uses the most modern methods of multi-pressure distillation and multi-optional fermentation. The plant, first of its kind in India, was supplied and commissioned by Praj Industries Ltd, Pune. This state-of-the-art distillery produces super fine quality of extra neutral alcohol directly from the wash.
